Ålandsbanken Fondbolag joins Swedish Investment Fund Association

Ålandsbanken Fondbolag, the asset manager of Ålandsbanken Group, which is headquartered in Mariehamn, Åland – located between Sweden and Finland – has become a member of the Swedish Investment Fund Association (Fondbolagens förening).

The bank, which was founded in 1919 opened its first branch in Helsinki in 1982, and in Sweden in 2009.

Fredric Andersen, sales manager of Ålandsbanken, said: “For us it’s natural to be a member of the Swedish Investment Fund Association as part of the industry. The industry is facing major changes and it is important to help drive development forward.”

The Swedish Investment Fund Association has some 43 member companies and 10 associate member companies.
