BlackRock names iShares head of Nordics

BlackRock has recently appointed Jan Bratteberg as head of the iShares business in the Nordics.

Bratteberg replaces Geir Espeskog who moved to Hong Kong as head of iShares distribution in Asia-Pacific.

He is based in Copenhagen and reports to Peter Beske Nielsen, Nordics country manager, and Fergus Slinger, co-head of iShares sales EMEA.

He was hiterto working within the BlackRock’s scientific active equity team as co-head of Strategy. Formerly, he held several positions at Barclays Global Investors.

IShares is the ETF provider of BlackRock and has over $1trn in assets under management.
