Cameron Hume signs with Nordicus Capital for Nordic distribution
UK investment management company Cameron Hume, which specialises in fixed income investments for larger institutional clients, is to be represented in the Nordic region by Nordicus Capital and in Australia by AFM Investment Partners.
The distribution deals come as the Edingburgh based manager seeks to expand into new territories. The new representative parties will be responsible for identifying opportunities with pension funds, sovereign wealth funds and insurance companies.
Cameron Hume was founded in 2011 by co-directors Guy Cameron (pictured), a former partner at Baillie Gifford and Christian Torkington who held senior roles at Barclays, Standard Life and Scottish Widows. The manager currently oversees $600m on behalf of South African insurer Sanlam.
Nordicus Capital was founded in 2015 by three partners with experience in the fields of asset management, business development, risk management, financial analysis, indices and ETFs. It is independently owned with offices in Stockholm (Sweden) and Cambridge (United Kingdom).
Earlier, in June this year, Nordicus announced that it had become the Nordic representative of Fullgoal Asset Management, a Chinese fund manager that listed a Chinese onshore fixed income fund on the London Stock Exchange. The fund tracks the performance of Chinese state guaranteed bonds issued and traded on the domestic market.
