Catella boosts property services through appointments

Catella, the Nordic headquartered financial group, has announced the appointment of seven project managers and analysts to boost its corporate finance activities in the property sector.

The new staff will be added to offices in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmo.

Jesper Bo Hansen, head of Catella’s Corporate Finance operations in the Nordics, said that the roles were added in response to demand seen from institutional investors in the region.

“The transaction market is as strong as last year, and we are seeing a large number of initiatives in the capital markets. In addition, there is substantial interest from international investors, both in Sweden and around the Nordics. Our ambition is to make further recruitments in the autumn.” he said

Carl Wingmark is joining the Stockholm office from PwC, where he worked in property advisory services.

Magnus Lange also joins the Stockholm office, from Cushman & Wakefield, where he was head of Swedish operations.

Gustaf Kullenberg, formerly at Nordea Corporate Finance, and Marco Nilsson, Cass Business School in London, have been recruited as analysts, while Jesper Greitz, PhD in physics, joins Catella’s research department – all in Stockholm.

Erik Sveder joins as an analyst at the company’s Gothenburg office.

Filip Hansson, a graduate in land surveying with a specialisation in property finance, joins as an analyst in Malmo.
