Catella CEO to step down
Johan Ericsson, CEO of Swedish financial group Catella, is to leave his position once a new CEO is appointed, the company has announced.
Ericsson was involved in starting the Corporate Finance operations at Catella some 20 years ago, and has been CEO for the past three years.
“I will continue to work within Catella, but the timing is right to consider the issue of succession since I will soon be 62. We are therefore initiating a recruitment process to identify my successor as CEO of Catella. This process will take time and I will continue to work as normal until my successor is in post,” Ericsson said.
Ericsson will not leave the company once his replacement is found. Instead he wants to take on a senior business role – something that board chairman Johan Claesson said he agreed with.
