Catella ‘largest’ property sales adviser in Sweden through 2013
Figures published by Catella suggest it was the biggest sales adviser in the local property market through 2013 on a valuation basis, the Swedish financial group has said.
The value of property transactions in which it acted as adviser was some SEK20bn (€2.3bn), out of a total market of some SEK96bn (€10.9bn).
Anders Nordvall, head of the Swedish property advisory services, said: “2013 was a very strong year for us and 2014 has the potential to become an even stronger year for property in terms of the market, thanks to the recovery in the economy combined with continued improvement in financing opportunities for property acquisitions.”
Daniel Anderbring, market analyst for Catella’s property advisory services in Sweden, added: “At the beginning of the year we have seen a rise in transaction activity, and so far this year turnover has risen by over 20% compared to the same period in 2013.”
Catella’s property advisory services operate across 11 European countries. In Sweden the operations employ some 40 staff, with offices in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö.
