Compliance in focus at Norway’s VFF

The Norwegian Fund and Asset Management Association (Verdipapirfondenes forening, VFF) is set to host a seminar on compliance and operational risk, hosted at insurance group Storebrand’s Lysaker headquarters in Oslo.

The event will address key upcoming regulation, including:

  • GDPR – the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation
  • Mifid II
  • Best execution
  • Conflicts of interest
  • Practical implementation GAP analysis
  • Solvency rules for insurers, including calculations of capital requirements and solvency capital
  • Run-through of new industry standards

Speakers on the topics will include representatives of professional services suppliers, asset managers and regulators –  such as PwC, Skagen, DNB Markets and Finanstilsynet – The Financial Supervisory Authority of Norway.
