CPD in area of funds regulation offered via Swedish Investment Fund Association

The Swedish Investment Fund Association (Fondbolagens förening) is offering a rebated course for its members on the topic of current regulations as they affect the funds industry in 2015.

The course is being organised by VJS for 17-18 February, with a rebate of 20% for those booking their attendance on the 18th alone, or 30% for those booking both days. VJS offers ongoing professional development for those employed as laywers.

The course will cover areas including: authorisation, rules governing placements, information requirements, marketing rules, oversight by the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority, and types of regulatory sanctions or penalties that are available to apply against those in the industry.

Among those giving presentations include: Lena Falk, deputy general counsel at the Association, accountant Sussanne Sundval of PwC, Helen Wall, general counsel at the Association, as well as course leader and lawyer Björn Wendleby of the Magnusson law offices.
