ESG rating agency opens Stockholm office

Paris-headquartered ESG rating agency Vigeo Eiris has expanded its international footprint into the Nordics region with the opening of an office in Swedish capital Stockholm.

Previously, the firm had opened offices in Chile (2014) and Canada (2015) before Vigeo and Eiris merged in 2015.

Vigeo Eiris’ Stockholm office is led by Kristina Svanteson who has been appointed head of Scandinavian Market in April.

Svanteson has been working for nine years at Vigeo Eiris, having held various positions such as senior analyst, project manager and team leader within the firm’s rating department.

Nicole Notat, president of Vigeo Eiris, said: “Scandinavia is historically one of the most mature markets in terms of responsible investment. Our new local presence will reinforce relations with local clients and accelerate our development in this market.”

Vigeo Eiris is represented in Paris, London, Boston, Brussels, Casablanca, Milan, Montreal, Santiago, Stockholm and Tokyo.
