Finland’s Pohjola issues Eurostoxx 50 index linked bond

Pohjola Bank, part of the OP-Pohjola group in Finland, will issue its €40m Pohjola Eurooppa Indeksi VIII/2012 on 4 July this year, indexed against the Eurostoxx 50 index and targeting retail investors.

The five year bond is issued under Pohjola’s domestic bond programme, with subscriptions beginning on 21 May.

There are two bond alternatives – Neutral and Plus – with issue prices of 100% and 110%. The index linked yield is calculated based on the performance of the Eurostoxx 50 index.

The bond will be listed on NasdaqOMX Helsinki, provided that the volume issued is at least the minimum as specified in the exchanges rules and regulations. Branches of OP-Pohjola group member banks and will serve as subscription agents.
