Finnish wealth manager appoints CEO

Helsinki-based wealth management and analysis firm Jam Advisors has appointed Jukka Pirskasen as chief executive officer, effective since 1 March 2018.

Prior to that, Pirskasen has been seven years with Finnish insurance group Mandatum Life Insurance, mostly as head of Wealth Management. He also held a number of positions with Nordea in Finland and Luxembourg, including head of Private Wealth Management.

Jam Advisors’ board chairman Eduard Paulig highlighted that the company was developing rapidly since its establishment in 2013, the firm’s net sales having risen by 54% to €3.7m over 2017. The company’s wealth analysis and reporting services gathered €7bn of assets at the end of last year.

“Our goal is to continue profitable growth and we believe Jukka Pirskanen’s solid experience in managing and developing the asset management business will bring us just the right know-how in this development phase, “Paulig said.

Jam Advisors has been able to gain a foothold especially in institutional asset management and also as a family office company, noted Jam Advisors’ new CEO Pirskanen.
