Former Qliktech bosses launch new IT fund in Sweden
Former managers at Swedish IT company Qliktech are launching a new $50m fund to invest in IT SMEs, according to reports in local business press.
Dagens Industri cites newsletter Rapidus for the news that gains made by the managers from the business success of Qliktech is to be ploughed back into the new fund.
The key players involved include former company chief executive and chairman Måns Hultman, private equity fund Zobito, Magnus Lindhe, former Qliktech Nordic head, Jonas Nachmanson, former head of technology, and Markus Rothmeier, who has been head of the company’s European division.
Qliktech listed on the Nasdaq exchange in 2010 and has since gained about 50% in value, DI notes.
The fund is expected to invest in about 15 European IT firms.
