Hedge fund manager among proposed board members for SEB

Hedge fund manager Sven Nyman is among a troika of senior business people with links to Sweden who have been proposed as as new board members at Swedish bank SEB.

Nyman is the CEO and founder of RAM Rational Asset Management and RAM One. Previously he has had senior positions at Investor and was a founder of Lancelot Asset Management.

Also nominated as a new board member is Samir Brikho, Currently CEO of London listed engineering consultancy Amec, Brikho has a history of studying and working in Sweden, including with companies such as ABB.

Winnie Fok is a chartered accountant in Australia and Hong Kong, and has worked as an adviser to Foundation Administration Management Sweden AB, and has been an adviser to Investor and Husqvarna over the 2010-12 period. She has also been a senior partner for EQT Partners Asia Limited, and is also a board member of SKF, Volvo Cars, G4S and Kemira Oyj.

A vote on the appointments will be held at the bank’s AGM on 31 March in Stockholm.
