Ignis’ Diamond Lee to participate in Stockholm
Diamond Lee, senior portfolio manager of Asian Equities at Ignis Asset Management, is to present his views on Chinese growth at the upcoming Fund Selector Forum Sweden, taking place on 7 May in Stockholm.
China is being pushed towards key economic reforms by its current government, and Lee, who has two decades of experience investing in the Chinese market, will explain how the theme of economic reform in a changing economy is expressed in his portfolio.
His is a focused, high conviction approach to stock selection, which seeks to find well managed, privately owned and motivated companies that are poised to thrive in the ongoing evironment.
Born in Hong Kong and educated in Scotland, Lee joined KPMG London in 1989 and became a fully qualified Charted Accountant in 1993. His first role in fund management was with Scottish Amicable Investment Managers. In 1996, he joined Ignis as a key member of the Asia Pacific equities team and now manages the Ignis International China Fund. Diamond is fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese.
