Lombard Odier IM appoints Nordic sales head

Geneva-headquartered Lombard Odier Investment Managers, the asset management arm of Swiss group Lombard Odier, has hired Velida Jahic as head of its Nordic region sales unit.

The information, first published by Reuters, has been confirmed by Jahic on her Linkedin profile.

Jahic, who joined LOIM in November, was previously responsible for Nomura Asset Management’s business development in the Nordics, based in London.

Prior to that, she was a senior investment manager in the alternative investments division of Nordea and served as chief investment officer of Swedish political institution Region Gävleborg.

Lombard Odier IM, led by CEO Hubert Keller, had CHF46bn (€39.3bn) of assets as at 30 June 2017.
