Norwegian boutique rebrands two funds
Norwegian boutique Arctic Fund Management has rebranded the Arctic Norwegian Equities II fund as the Arctic Norwegian Value Creation fund and the Arctic Investment Grade fund as the Arctic Nordic Investment Grade fund.
Both changes were effective at the start of August and aim to reflect more the investment focus and philosophy of their respective vehicles.
“Arctic Norwegian Value Creation primarily invest in companies we consider to have good ability for long-term value creation. Combined with a disciplined approach to what is already valued into the stock price, we have historically achieved an attractive performance both for this fund and our Nordic fund, Arctic Nordic Equities,” explained portfolio manager Ole Dahl.
Cathrine Foyn, portfolio manager of the Arctic Nordic Investment Grade fund, said: “This investment approach is something we have done since inception in 2010, and by adding Nordic to the funds name, this will only be a clarification of our investment philosophy for our clients.”
The Arctic Norwegian Value Creation and the Arctic Nordic Investment Grade funds returned 19.46% and 1.84% against their benchmarks over the last 12 months respectively.
Arctic Fund Management had assets under management of NOK13bn (€1.36bn) as at 31 December 2017.
