Odin, the Norwegian manager, has launched a fund of funds that invests in four of its own fixed income products.

Odin Rente will invest in the Pengemarked, Kort Obligasjon and Obligasjon funds – all Ucits – and the Kreditt fund – not Ucits – with the proportion allocated to each dependent on the recommendations of an investment committee.

The Rente fund aims to offer investors a risk score of 2 out of 7, where 7 represents the highest risk category of funds for Norwegian investors.

The fund will be managed by Nils Hast and Marianne Stoltenberg Lind, who both have experience as managers of fixed income portfolios and as and macro analysts.

“Our ambition is to offer customers a better return than what is possible from a bank, but without taking on much more risk,” said Hast.
