Skagen Funds hires new investment director

Norwegian asset manager Skagen Funds has appointed Alexandra Morris to join its board as investment director, where she will be in charge of a 23 person strong team of portfolio managers.

Morris joins from DNB Asset Management, where she most recently worked as chief investment officer, prior to that, she managed two European mutual funds at Odin Fund Management. She is also a member of the board at Norwegian firms Nordic Nanovector and Kongsberg Gruppen.

Henrik Lisaeth, chairman of the board at Skagen comments on her appointment: “We are very proud to have won Alexandra Morris to our firm, she is very well known and highly regarded in the financial industry”.
