Sweden’s Catella launches three new funds
Catella Fonder has submitted applications for three new funds with the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority, which it will manage on behalf of Sweden’s ICA Banken.
The three funds take in a “cautious”, “moderate” and “bold” approach to risk – respectively the ICA Banken Varlig, ICA Banken Måttlig and ICA Banken Modig. The funds will invest in both Swedish equity index funds and fixed income funds and securities.
Ola Mårtensson of Catella Fonder will manage the new funds.
Mats Andersson, managing director Catella Fonder said: “ICA Banken’s involvement with Catella creates an interesting new player on the Swedish fund market. We are extremely pleased with this cooperation.”
More information on the funds is expected when the Supervisory Authority has formally given its approval.
Catella Fonder is a Nordic fund manager with assets under management valued at approximately SEK14bn.
