Sweden’s Cliens to distribute via Skandiabanken
The Cliens Sverige and Cliens Mixfond Sverige are to be distributed to customers of online bank Skandiabanken as of November, the fund company has announced.
The Cliens Sverige fund is a concentrated long only portfolio of 25-40 Swedish stocks, with a ‘AA’ rating from Standard & Poor’s.
The Mixfond Sverige is a balanced fund, with a mandate that allows up to 75% of the portfolio to be invested in fixed interest securities and money market instruments. Since launch in December 2004, the fund has provided roughly double the return – 104% versus 57% – compared to its index benchmark of 50% SIXRX/50% OMRX T-Bill.
Tomas Henriks, Cliens’ head of marketing, said: “The Skandia group is not just one of the biggest, but also one of the most experienced players in the area of fund distribution in Sweden, so we are of course proud to be accessible through their offering. This is an important step in our target to make our funds accessible on Swedish savings platforms.”
Skandiabanken is an online bank operating in Sweden and Norway, offering banking and savings and investments solutions.
