Swedish boutique to launch Nordic equity hedge fund

Stockholm-based investment firm Adrigo Asset Management has announced the forthcoming launch of a Nordic equity hedge fund, Adrigo Small & Midcap L/S.

The fund will focus primarily on long/short investments in the small-mid cap segments of the Nordic equity markets.

It will be managed by former Origo Capital’s fund manager Staffan Östlin, who has over 30 years’ experience from Nordic equity markets.

Adrigo stated that the new fund is expected to be established during the autumn of 2017, once the regulatory approvals have been granted.

The boutique’s flagship strategy, Adrigo Hedge, has assets under management of around SEK3bn (€306m) and has returned 83% (5.9% p.a.) since its inception on December 1, 2006.
