Swedish Investment Fund Association seeks new CEO

The Swedish Investment Fund Association, which represents some 41 member firms and 11 associated firms, has announced that it is seeking a replacement for current CEO Pia Nilsson, who will be reaching statutory retirement age.

Currently, the Association represents the interests of providers in a market that has some SE2.9trn (€309bn) under management through funds.

In a statement, the Association noted that is is also working to ensure a healthy fund market that provides competitive solutions that benefit savers.

“Of great importance is good relations with opinionators as well as politicians, authorities and media,” added.

In terms of candidates, the Association said it is looking for people with the ability to provide good leadership, strategic thinking, and who can communicate well in both Swedish and English.
