Swiss wealth manager acquires Belgian Finvex Group

Geneva headquartered Horus Partners Wealth Management has fully acquired Brussels based Finvex Group.

Launched in 2009, Finvex Group provides a range of financial services to investment managers, financial advisors, banks, insurers and research houses, including the design of strategies and indices in all asset classes.

The deal includes all of Finvex index business but excludes the participation in Luxembourg based boutique Shelter Investment.

The transaction aims to strengthen Finvex’s expertise in the index business and to integrate Finvex’s technology within Horus’ asset management mandates.

It is understood former shareholders of Finvex, CEO Benedict Peeters and global head of Structuring Christophe Pecoraro will be leaving the firm after a transitional services period.
