Acolin Fund Services opens office in Lugano
Acolin Fund Services, legal representative and service provider for international fund providers, has hired a funds expert to spearhead the expansion of its business in Ticino, the Italian part of Switzerland.
Fund specialist Daniel Rempfler, who has experience in both representation and distribution, will head the new office in Lugano. He has been responsible for legal representation for several years.
Acolin, based in Zurich, already has offices in Luxemburg, London and Madrid. Swiss regulator FINMA has granted approval for the new office.
The aim, Acolin said in a statement, is to “serve the Italian-speaking clients locally. So far, the Italian-speaking part of Switzerland has not been serviced by an independent provider, while demand will increase with the revision of the Collective Investment Schemes Act.”
Through Rempfler, Acolin will offer a complete service range including distribution channel and commission management, as well as marketing and sales support.
Daniel Häfele, Acolin’s chief executive, says: “Our new office in Ticino reflects the growing interest in our services, in particular in connection with our distribution know-how, which sets us apart from our competitors. We are pleased to have expert Daniel Rempfler joining us.”
