Arpad Busson named as Gottex new executive chairman

Swiss alternative investment firm Gottex Fund Management has named Arpad Busson as its new executive chairman after the departure of founder and CEO Joachim Gottschalk.

Busson, one of the most notorious hedge fund managers in the world, was hitherto chairman of Gottex.  He joined the company in December 2013 when Gottex has merged with EIM, the hedge fund Busson founded in 1991.

Gottex said it is still searching for a new CEO.

Gottex has $8.5bn (€7.8bn) of assets under management.
