BNY Mellon appoints head of Third Party Distribution Switzerland

BNY Mellon Investment Mangement has appointed Martin Rees as head of Third Party Distribution for Switzerland.

He will be responsible for further developing the intermediary distribution business in Switzerland, and will report to country head Jürg Zollinger.

Rees joins from Goldman Sachs Asset Management in Zurich, where he worked as executive director in third party distribution Switzerland.

He started his career at UBS where he held various positions before joining Credit Suisse where he was appointed to vice president in hedge fund advisory.

BNY Mellon Investment Management is established in the Swiss market since 2002.

The firm had $1.7trn (€1.52trn) in assets under management as of end June 2016.
