Ex-Unigestion marketing head launches consultancy firm

Former head of Marketing and Product Development at Unigestion Jean-François Hirschel (pictured left) has launched a strategic marketing consultancy firm H-Ideas.

Based in Geneva, the firm advises financial services, technology and fintech companies on all aspects of marketing including strategy, positioning and messaging, branding, products, distribution strategy and channels and communications.

H-Ideas’ clients include Groupama Asset Management, La Banque Postale Asset Management and Sanso IS among others.

The firm’s founder and CEO Hirschel said: “The overpromising offer, the eternal marketing din emanating from companies pushing their products and the quasi-immediate access to information available from the internet and social media create a decision-making challenge for all consumers be they organisations, investors or individuals.

“There is an opportunity for financial services firms to overcome the huge profitability pressure they are submitted to, by developing the right strategic positioning, messaging and plan with their clients’ goals in mind. They can cut through the marketing noise to build trust and sustainable profitable business relationships with their customers. H-Ideas looks forward to sharing its strategic marketing insights and experience with companies to help them boost their profitable growth.”

Prior to his tenure at Unigestion, Hirschel held senior marketing positions at Société Générale Asset Management and Paribas Asset Management.
