Exclusive: UBS hires ex-Banca Aletti banker as HNWI adviser

Switzerland’s largest bank UBS has appointed Alberto Tomasini as client adviser for high net worth individuals (HNWI).

Tomasini joins UBS from Banca Aletti where he worked as a private banker, responsible for wealth management for HNWI/UHNWI for more than three years, being based in Milan.

Prior to that, Tomasini worked at Aletti Gestielle Asset Management for some four years, as head of portfolio management, responsible for leading the PM team within the multi-manager unit and for the management of an absolute return fund of funds portfolio.

Formerly, he also worked as head of portfolio management at Aletti Gestielle Alternative SGR during five years, leading the portfolio management team. Before this, Tomasini worked for UniCredit Group as a credit analyst, responsible for assigning internal credit ratings to the financial counterparties of the Bank.

UBS works with private clients, institutions and corporations around the world to help answer some of life’s questions – whether through expert wealth management advice, investment banking and asset management expertise, or general banking advice in Switzerland.
