Gonet La Française hires managing director in Switzerland

Gonet La Française Advisors, a joint collaboration between asset manager La Française and Swiss Bank Gonet&Cie, has hired Peter Stiefel as managing director, co-head of business development in Switzerland alongside Bénédict Fatio.

Stiefel, with over 30 years’ asset management experience, began his career working at the investment bank of UBS where he spent 22 years gaining extensive knowledge of the Swiss institutional market and developing an expertise in US equities. He also worked at AllianceBernstein for 11 years as a senior sales representative responsible for fund distribution in Switzerland and Liechtenstein. Stiefel is a member of the Swiss Finance Institute and a graduate of their executive program.

Philippe Lecomte, CEO of La Française AM International, said: “We have made the Swiss market a priority. With Peter’s contribution, we will be able to better serve our Swiss clients and promote further our expertise on the local market.”
