Invesco nabs Switzerland director from Swiss & Global

Invesco Asset Management has appointed Reto Meisser new CEO and head of wholesale in Switzerland.

Meisser moves over form Swiss & Global Asset Management, where he most recently served as executive director in charge of wholesale distribution in Switzerland.

He has joined as of the start of December and will be based in the Zurich office. His hire follows various earlier appointments in Switzerland as the manager strengthens its presence in the region.

Earlier this year Invesco in Switzerland appointed Alexandre Sauterel as senior sales director responsible for the French speaking part of Switzerland and for a number of key clients in Zurich, Martina Brückner as head of compliance and Emmanuel Armbruster in the client services team led by Rolf Hans Elsener.

Miguel Rona, co-head of European distribution at Invesco, said: “Reto’ s hire, as well as the others that have taken place earlier this year in our Swiss business, are part of Invesco´s broad plan to strengthen the quality of the service we provide to clients in key markets across Continental Europe, to adequately respond to the increased demand for our products that we are experiencing across all markets.”

Invesco has over $677bn in assets under management globally. It operates in 20 countries across the globe, providing investment solutions for retail, institutional and high net worth clients.
