John Redding of Eaton Vance to speak at Zurich Forum
John Redding, vice president and portfolio manager at Eaton Vance Investment Management, is set to take part in InvestmentEurope’s Pension Fund Forum taking place on 21 November in Zurich.
Redding, who is a senior portfolio manager within Eaton Vance’s Bank Loan portfolio management team, is set to discuss the floating rate asset class and how a diversified portfolio of senior secured bank loans can provide opportunities for income generation, with negligible duration risk and strong downside protection.
Redding joined Eaton Vance in 1998 and has approximately 25 years of experience in leveraged loans, having previously worked at GiroCredit Bank and Creditanstalt- Bankverein. From September 2005 to April 2012, Redding was based in London where he established the bank loan group’s European office, for which he continues to have responsibility.
Previously, he focused on credit analysis for the gaming and movie theater industries, asset-based transactions and stressed loan situations, having served on a number of steering committees for lender syndicates.
