Julius Baer hires new portfolio manager
Stewart Edginton has joined the Portfolio Management unit of Julius Baer in London as team head of discretionary specialists.
Edginton started his career as portfolio manager at Singer and Friedlander before moving to Merrill Lynch Portfolio Managers in 2003 where he served private clients. In this role he worked with the full range of wealth management tools available across the various advisory and discretionary mandates at Merrill Lynch. In 2008 he moved to Zurich to set up and run a family office, before returning to the UK to join Julius Baer at the beginning of 2014.
Edward Raymond, head Portfolio Management UK, said: “We are pleased that Stewart has re-joined the team after 5 years abroad, in this exciting phase of our development. He brings to Julius Baer broad experience of catering to the needs of private clients and shares our vision to lead the wealth management industry.”
Stewart Edginton added: “Portfolio Management at Julius Baer is quite different from the growing number of passive discretionary offerings. We offer bespoke portfolios, where the portfolio managers are proven investment experts, providing first-rate solutions to our sophisticated clientele.”
