Patrick Beuret has been appointed country head for Switzerland at JP Morgan Asset Management.

Beuret will report to Massimo Greco, head of European Funds, and will be based in Zurich.

He will be responsible for continuing to grow the manager’s funds business in Switzerland, with a focus on business development without losing sight of existing client relationships.

Beuret takes over the role from Philipp Pfenniger, who is changing to a senior sales executive role to focus on strategic client relationships.

Before joining JP Morgan AM in 2011, Beuret was partner and co-head of Sales at Bellevue Asset Management. He has also worked at Julius Baer Asset Management.

Also joining the manager’s Swiss funds team is Peter Leffler who as senior sales executive will be responsible for developing client relationships. He joins from Swiss & Global Asset Management, where he focused on Swiss clients. He has also worked at UBS and Julius Baer Asset Management.

Massimo Greco said: “Switzerland continues to be a critical market for JP Morgan Asset Management in Europe and we’re grateful to Philipp’s successful leadership in helping to grow this business. With Patrick taking over his new role, supported by the sales expertise and experience of Peter, Philipp and the broader Swiss Funds team, we look forward to continuing to enhance our presence and excellence in client service.”
