RobecoSAM hands over healthcare fund to new PM

Swiss asset manager RobecoSAM has announced Moritz Dullinger (pictured) has taken over its Healthy Living Strategy fund as lead portfolio manager since 1 April 2017.

He was previously the co-portfolio manager of the strategy with Dieter Küffer, who will remain its deputy manager.

The RobecoSAM Healthy Living Strategy, celebrating its tenth anniversary,  focuses on “lifestyle diseases” like stroke, heart disease, diabetes and cancer.

It invests in companies providing solutions to global healthcare challenges through their products and services.

The fund does not invest in firms that merely treat chronic diseases but rather looks at companies that prevent them.

Dullinger is also an equity analyst covering the healthcare sector at RobecoSAM he joined in 2014. Formerly, he was a project manager responsible for strategic healthcare investments at a portfolio company of the Carlyle Group.

Dullinger started his career as a sell side equity research analyst at Kepler Capital Markets covering European healthcare stocks.
