SocGen Private Banking bolsters Swiss team

Societe Generale Private Banking has expanded its Swiss team with the appointment of Cédrick Merour and Martin Petermann, who will join the  Societe Generale Private Banking Switzerland team in Zürich.

Merour, who was previously head of Market Solutions in Geneva now reports to Tobias Wagner, head of the Societe Generale Private Banking Services team in Zurich, and David Saliné, head of the Financial Intermediaries segment at the bank.

Petermann joins the bank as senior relationship manager, he previously worked among others at Deutsche Bank, UBS and BNP Paribas.

Their appointments come as part of a broaders strategic push in the financial intermediary sector in Switzerland, with several further hires being planned as the bank confirms.
