Societe Generale boosts CEE Private Banking team

Societe Generale Private Banking (SGPB) has announced the appointment of André Mankowskyas head Russia and Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) as of mid-June.

Manovsky’s appointment follows the departure of SGPB’s Russia seven person strong team, which left in May in order to join Safra Sarasin.

Based in Zurich, Manovsky will be in charge of clients which Russian and CIS nationalities based in Switzerland, London and Monaco.

He will participate in the development of wealth management products specifically aimed at this client group. Manovsky will also join the SGPB Suisse Executive Sales Committee.

He joins from Deutsche Bank, where he spent six years as managing director in charge of the Russian and Eastern European markets.
