SVG Investment Managers to become GVO Investment Management
SVG Investment Managers (SVGIM) has announced that it will be changing its name to GVO Investment Management (GVOIM) before the end of the year.
This new identity draws upon the heritage and financial strength of its new owner, Hansa Aktiengesellschaft (Hansa), a Swiss-based international investor and holding company chaired by Mr. Georg von Opel.
SVGIM is a London based specialist fund manager, created with the objective of adopting private equity investment techniques and adapting them for use in public markets. SVGIM is has assets under management of some £250m.
Adam Steiner, CEO of SVGIM said: “It’s been a very successful year for our business in terms of growth and investment performance. We are very excited about the opportunity that our new ownership structure presents to improve and develop our client offering. Our new name, along with the associated rebranding, will help us to establish a clear identity in investment management.”
Georg von Opel, Chairman of Hansa said: “I am delighted to be associating Hansa’s heritage with the business and to be supporting it through the next stage of its development.”
