Unigestion bolsters equities team

Swiss manager Unigestion has appointed David Latto as senior vice president and portfolio manager within its equities team.

Latto is based in Geneva and reports to Jean-François Clément, executive director and investment director within Unigestion’s equities team.

He is also a member of the equity investment and research committee.

Latto was hitherto working at UBS as an equity derivatives structurer.

Formerly, he worked at Nomura International where he was an equity exotics structurer. Prior to that, he held roles at the European Investment Bank specialising in structured rates origination and at Credit Agricole CIB where he worked as a flow and semi-exotics option trader.

Latto started his career in 2006 in the equity derivatives trading division at BNP Paribas Tokyo.

Unigestion has €15.3bn of assets under management of which 94% is managed on behalf of over 270 institutional investors and 6% on behalf of a few high net worth families.
