Vaudoise Assurances completes double AM acquisition

Swiss insurance group Vaudoise Assurances, headquartered in Lausanne, has completed the acquisition of Bern-based asset managers Dr Meyer Asset Management AG and Berninvest AG, that was announced at the end of March 2017.

Dr Meyer Asset Management AG and Berninvest AG have total assets under management of CHF1.4bn.

Dr Meyer Asset Management, which has been renamed Vaudoise Investment Solutions, provides a broad range of services including private wealth management, financial advisory or real estate management whilst Berninvest manages the Immo Helvetic and Good Buildings property funds.

Nunzio Lo Chiatto remains CEO of both asset management companies which will continue to run from Bern. The transaction has had no impact on jobs.
