Vincent Duhamel joins Lombard Odier
Lombard Odier (LO) has appointed Vincent Duhamel as its new head Asia-Pacific & Japan and limited partner based in Hong Kong
Duhamel will be responsible for the development of private and institutional businesses, and will work alongside Bart Van Leemput, who will continue to lead LO private banking teams in the Asia-Pacific region.
Duhamel joins from SAIL advisers, where he was chief executive officer. Previously he was head of Goldman Sachs Asset Management for Asia ex Japan, and responsible for the bank’s activities in asset management and in developing relationships with institutional investors.
Duhamel was also chief executive for Asia and a member of the global executive committee, at State Street Global Advisers’ business. He was also head of State Street Global Advisers in Canada, which he established in 1993.
As a member of the Financial Reporting Review Panel (FRRP) which is a part of the Financial Reporting Council, he has also participated on a number of committees of the Securities and Futures Commission in Hong Kong. He was also a CFA Institute Governor from 2000 to 2008 and vice chairman and chairman of the Board of Governors in 2006 and 2007.

Duhamel will report to Anne-Marie de Weck, and Hubert Keller.
