Weibel to speak on changes to Swiss pension law in Zurich

Thomas Weibel, member of the Swiss national council for the Green Liberal Party, will address changes to the Swiss 2020 pension legislation at the InvestmentEurope Pension Fund Forum in Zurich on 15 May.

He will discuss the draft changes to the first and second pillar of the Swiss pension system as proposed by Swiss minister of social affairs Alain Berset last year.

In particular, he will address possible compromises which could prevent a failure to pass the current draft legislative changes.

Weibel has been representing the Green Liberal Party Zurich canton at the national council since 2007.

As member of the national council, he is part of the commission for social security and health, which will assess the proposed changes to Swiss pension law.
