Allfunds Bank appoints head of Fund Groups in UK

Allfunds Bank has appointed Danny Wynn as head of Fund Groups for UK, Ireland and Middle East.

Danny Wynn (pictured) spent his career at Legal & General rising to director, Platforms & Policy with responsibilities for setting distribution strategy for retail savings, managing the company’s platform business and interactions with the UK platform market for life and pensions business.

At Allfunds Wynn will be part of a new executive team which is being assembled by Stephen Mohan who was recruited earlier this year to spearhead the expansion of Allfunds in the UK and Ireland. He will therefore join Bradley Lewis who was also recently recruited by Mohan to lead Allfunds’ commercial activities.

Wynn will be responsible for the local relationship with Fund Groups, supporting the platform’s global-local approach and reinforcing the Fund Groups global team led by Borja Largo, Fund Groups’ Director.

Wynn was formerly responsible for providing a central business development, change and operations function for the UK & International Development team within Legal & General. He is a graduate in economics from the LSE.

Stephen Mohan said: “Danny is perfectly suited for the head of Funds role at Allfunds as he has extensive experience in developing business relationships, contract negotiations, governance and risk management. I’m very pleased that he is joining Bradley and me as we create a winning team to work through our plans for the UK business.”

Allfunds Bank has some €110bn of assets under administration (AuA).
