AMP Capital expands Infrastructure Equity team
Australian asset manager AMP Capital has appointed Philip Pacey as principal to its London-based Infrastructure Equity team, as of 1 September 2016.
He will join the asset management team within AMP Capital’s global infrastructure platform, which invests across transport, energy, communication and utilities. He will report to AMP Capital head of Asset Management, Europe, David Rees.
Pacey was most recently an independent consultant with ESVAGT, a provider of emergency response and rescue services in the offshore oil and gas industry in Denmark and Norway. AMP Capital owns 50 per cent of ESVAGT.
Prior to that, he held a number of finance and operational roles at Virgin Rail, Metronet Rail and GNER, and in the Go-Ahead airport services and car parking businesses prior to their disposal.
AMP specialises in infrastructure investments and currently manages A$160bn (€108bn) in assets under management.
