UK based manager Artemis has opened the offer period for three new US open ended investment company (OEIC) funds, pricing shares at £1 each until 22 September.

The three funds are Artemis US Equity Fund and Artemis US Select Fund, both managed by Cormac Weldon; and Artemis US Extended Alpha Fund, managed by Stephen Moore.

All three portfolios rely on a mix of top down analysis mixed with bottom up stock specific research carried out by the manager’s seven strong US team.

Cormac Weldon, who joined Artemis in May, said: “Yes, some parts of the American market are looking fully valued. But whether it’s from the revolution in shale oil & gas or from innovation in the tech sector, I am seeing just as many attractive investment opportunities in North America as I have throughout my 25-year career.”
