Ashcourt Rowan grows financial planning team

Ashcourt Rowan’s financial planning division has expanded its team with a number of new hires.

The company has employed five new financial planners to help develop and grow the financial planning proposition offered to its clients. Simon Kempell and Gary Jones have joined the team in London, while Alex Valvassura will be based in Maidstone.

Kempell has been in the industry for 27 years, having previously worked for a number of accountancy firms and more recently John Scott & Partners, now Towry.

Jones has over 32 years experience in the industry and joins Ashcourt Rowan from RBS where he has worked for the past seven years. Valvassura also joins the firm from RBS. He is an adviser with 25 years in Corporate and Personal Financial Planning.

Additionally, Kerry Saunders has joined the Bournemouth office and Peter Woolgar will be based in Brighton. Peter joined Ashcourt Rowan after 37 years at NatWest, where he worked in Financial Planning for 25 years. Saunders has been in the industry for more than 10 years, having worked for Lloyds Banking Group and more recently as an IFA.
