Capital Cranfield names MD
Capital Cranfield, the independent pension trustee company, has announced the appointment of Neil McPherson as Managing Director.
McPherson has worked with pension funds for much of his career in financial services. He worked for Citigroup, where he held a number of roles, including setting up Citigroup Asset Management’s European Retirement Services business.
In 2002 he joined Standard Life Investments to establish their European client business before moving to Standard Life plc to be Director of Group Relationship Management. Since 2010 he has been a Senior Advisor to Copthall Partners.
His fiduciary experience includes chairing the Kosovo Pension Savings Trust, and Neil is currently the Council Director for the Conference Board’s European Pension Council, a pan-European group of multinational corporate pension funds.
