Eaton Vance appoints David Morley as UK business development director

The American investment firm Eaton Vance has announced the appointment of David Morley as vice-president and business development director of its UK institutional business, EVMI based in London since 2001.

Morley will be in charge of the development of the business development and the management of key institutional and consultant relationships in the UK and Ireland. Before joining EVMI, he worked for Lombard Odier Investment Managers as head of Institutional Sales UK and Nordic Region. Formerly, he held several positions at Henderson Global Investors such as director of International Business.

Niall Quinn, managing director and president, EVMI commented : “Hiring David will enable us to support the growing demand from UK investors for products offered by Eaton Vance, partner firm Hexavest, and affiliate manager Parametric. His product experience is perfectly suited to the range of funds we offer to investors in the UK and Ireland, specifically our fixed income, global equity and smart beta strategies.”

Established in 1924, Eaton Vance and its affiliates, including EVMI, managed $296bn (€272.1bn) as of 31 December 2014.
