Eden expands wealth, asset management business
Eden Group has appointed Ed Rosengarten to the newly created position of head of Asset Management. He joins from M&G, where as chief executive of equities, he was responsible for building and leading the investment management capability.
Rosengarten joined M&G in 1992 from Touche Remnant. During his time at M&G, he was an institutional director and business head, and then chief operating officer of M&G investment management where he oversaw the integration of Prudential Portfolio Managers and M&G following Prudential’s takeover of M&G in 1999.
At Eden Rosengarten will grow the private client business and develop Eden’s asset management expertise by bringing in new managers and creating a range of third party funds to target the wider market, including intermediaries, wholesale and institutional clients.
Privately owned and based in the City of London, Eden is chaired by Stephen Massey. The firm offers independent and transparent asset management to high net worth individuals, families, pension funds and non-profit organisations.
Eden’s Global Markets division offers a pan-European dealing service and access to independent research to clients including investment banks, hedge funds and global money managers.
