Fulcrum hires chief risk officer

Fulcrum Asset Management (Fulcrum) has announced the appointment of of Piotr Chmielowski as chief risk officer.

Based in London, he will be responsible for overseeing Fulcrum’s risk management capabilities, including related aspects of Fulcrum’s investment process and all risk-related business decisions.

Chmielowski joins Fulcrum from Lombard Odier, where he spent five years as head of Risk in Europe. He holds a PhD in theoretical physics from the University of Chicago.

Mona Dohle speaks German and Dutch, she is DACH & Benelux Correspondent for InvestmentEurope. Prior to that, she worked as a journalist in Egypt and Palestine. She started her career as a journalist working for a local German newspaper. Mona graduated with an MSc in Development Studies from SOAS and has completed the CISI Certificate in International Wealth and Investment Management.
