Gerry Fowler joins Standard Life Investments multi-asset team

Gerry Fowler has been appointed investment director, Idea Generation, within the Multi Asset Investment (MAI) team at Standard Life Investments.

Previously global head of Equity and Derivatives Strategy with BNP Paribas, Fowler (pictured) will be part of a team of 57 investment professionals that are tasked with providing idea generation, investment recommendations, and implementation strategies for SLI’s range of MAI funds.

Guy Stern, executive director of Multi-Asset and Macro Investing at Standard Life Investments, said: “Gerry is a highly skilled strategic analyst with a wealth of experience in equities and equity derivatives and will add to the already impressive range of knowledge and experience within the MAI team.
